Painted in Cassis paint, one of the oldest types of paints, which makes for an ultra flat matt finish, on a stretched and ready to hang 80 x 60 cm canvas.
I was inspired to paint this photograph from David Ash, a very talented photographer who generously allows artists to use his photos.
This painting has been on my to do list for quite a while as it's such a stunning picture.
I like the idea that if an elephants' trunk is raised it's a sign of good luck, hence the name.
Prints of this painting are available in my Etsy shop
